A new Xiaomi phone has been spotted at benchmarking website, Geekbench. The device is called the Xiaomi Ferrari, and looks to be quite a powerful phone. It sports a 4.9″ Full HD Display, and runs on an Octa-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon 615 processor, with 2GB RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. The phone
runs on Android
5.0.2 Lollipop (with MIUI, obviously), and has 16 GB of internal storage
(displayed as 12, which is probably the user available memory). The Ferrari features a 12 Megapixel rear camera
with flash, which is capable of recording FullHD videos and HDR photos.
The front lens is a 4.8 Megapixel camera. It is a single SIM device,
which supports a variety of sensors.
Interestingly there is no mention if the phone supports LTE networks, there is no information about the battery capacity either.
Of course, this could just be a prototype model, but as with any leak I’d advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
While the specifications of the device have already been leaked, we expect Xiaomi to make an official announcement for the same in the coming days.
As reported earlier, Xiaomi is also working on its another smartphone Xiaomi E4 which share identical specs as that of Mi 4 except that it features 2 GB of RAM instead of 3 GB RAM in Mi 4. Other specifications of the handset include 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 5-inch full HD display (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 441 ppi pixel density), Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS with Xiaomi’s MIUI 6.0 and 3080 mAh battery.
There is no word about when the device will be launched and what will it cost.
keep enjoying..
